Entry fee is per class excluding compulsory competitors Levy of R100.00 per horse & medical  levy of R 50.00 per rider payable for the duration of the show, payable with entries for all competitors.

A2 Competition(FEI art 238.2.1)                                   

Accumulator with Joker (44 points) (FEI art 269)

Sunday:

2 Phase Competition(FEI art 274.5.2)        

Championship (FEI art 238.2.2)

Junior & Adult:  90cm - 1.00m - Graded - R160.00 ; 1.10m - 1.30m - Graded - R170.00

Pony Rider:  90cm - 1.20m - Graded - R155.00           

Recreational :  50cm, 60cm-1.30m- R130.

Classes may be Handicapped at organizers discretion.

Take Note: All graded jumping classes will run from 1.30m down to 50cm on both days.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: 1st of June 2019.

Show Jumping: Bought entries close noon the day before the show starts. No bought entries will be accepted after this.

Show Jumping: Substitutions must be made in writing on the correct form, as soon as possible, at least 1(one) hour before class commences. Any horse / rider substituting must be completely registered in SASJ, if NOT a fine of R100 will be imposed for every day the horse / rider remains unregistered. This includes the height certificates for ponies must be approved too and all vaccination details up-to-date.

The organisers reserve the right to handicap, combine and restrict classes if less than 8 riders per class

Terms And Conditions

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

  1. We regret that no horse may enter the show without an up-to-date horse flu vaccination and AHS.
  2.  Riders must have their passports available for inspection at any time during the show
  3. NO refunds/credits will be made in respect of cancellations and scratchings after closing date of entries.
  4. The final program will be emailed to all competitors. NO times will be given over the phone.
  5. Please note that the only time that is exact is the starting time for the day, all other events will run on.
  6. Current SAEF, DSA & SASJ rules apply to this show.
  7. Competitors are required to be correctly dressed.
  8. Hard hats to be worn at all times when mounted.
  9. Please Note: The Show Organizing Committee of DÉJÀ VU EQUESTRIAN reserves the right to combine, vary, divide or cancel classes if insufficient entries are received.
  10. The Show Organizing Committee of DÉJÀ VU EQUESTRIAN reserves the right to limit entries, depending on the total number of entries received per class.
  11. The program and conditions relating thereto will be adhered to as far as possible.  However, in the light of unforeseen circumstances, unfavorable weather conditions etc, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to make alterations, cancel, combine, divide or postpone any class. In the event of the show being cancelled for any reason only 50% of entry fees will be refunded.  No entries will be refunded if the show is postponed.
  12. Indemnity Responsibility: SAEF, DSA, SJSA or DÉJÀ VU EQUESTRIAN , the organizers and any officials appointed by these shall in no way be held responsible for any damage, theft, loss or injury sustained by horses, horse owners, riders, competitors grooms, handlers  members of the public or any other person/s or their property at Déjà Vu Equestrian. By entering this show the competitors, owners of horses and riders agree to these terms.
  13. In all jumping classes juniors and adults will be combined.
  14. Depending on entries; classes may be combined and/or handicapped and separate prizes will not be awarded. This applies to jumping classes.
  15. Entry fees for classes include the following levies: 
    1. SHOW JUMPING: SASJ Levy (Recreational (60 cm R15.00; Pony Rider and Junior R15.00; Adult 90cm – 1.25m R40.00, Adult 1.30 upwards R60.00) and R5.13 EDTS Levy per class. 
    2. DRESSAGE:  R51.30 (Graded Classes), Entry Level (Prelim) R11.30, (under 18) R18.70.  R5.13 EDTS Levy.
  16. Entry fees for classes excludes the following levies:
    1. Compulsory Competitors Levy of R100.00 per horse for the duration of the show.
    2. Compulsory medical levy of R50.00 per rider for the duration of the show.
  17. By entering a stallion at the DÉJÀ VU EQUESTRIAN , the competitor & owner agree to the following conditions and  to abide by the following protocol:
    1. Competition stallions remain the responsibility of the owner & rider at all times, they are expected to have public liability against any loss, injury or damage that might be caused by the stallion.
    2. It is the responsibility of the owner & rider to ensure that the stallion is accompanied by a responsible handler or rider at all times while on the premise of DÉJÀ VU EQUESTRIAN.
    3. Under NO circumstances shall the covering of mares be allowed to take place on DÉJÀ VU EQUESTRIAN premises.
    4. All stallions must wear a yellow tag on their bridles at all times.
