Entries to be done via the SASJ Online Database.
Unpaid Entries will be deleted 24hours after closing date of entries and will only be restored if there is space in the arena after receipt of the POP.
Bought and Sold Entries will be allowed provided the correct documentation is submitted within the correct time frames, and the original rider has signed the form. Bought and Sold Entries will only be allowed, provided the OC does not have a waiting list to fulfill first. Please contact the OC before selling entries.
Should the show be oversubscribed, the SASJ Online ranking system will be implemented with Rankings per province.
There will be no buying and selling of entries after Wednesday 03 June 2026. Forms received thereafter will not be accepted. NO buying and selling of entries after this date as these are loaded onto the FEI WJCH Database
REFUND: No Refunds will be given after the closing date of entries. Entries withdrawn before the closing date will be refunded less a R50.00 admin fee.
STABLING: Stabling will be available at R170.00 per day. Stabling is limited and will be booked on a first come first serve basis. Please submit your BOOKING FORM to info@penbritte.co.za together with your Proof of payment to secure your stable.
Initial Bedding will be provided, additional bedding will be available to purchase at R50 per bag.
The allocation of stabling accommodation is carried out by the Show Director and under no circumstances may any competitor change his/her stabling accommodation or alter the stabling list without prior consultation with, and approval of, the Show director. Failure to comply could involve disqualification of the horse concerned. Stables will be allocated to out of Province rider first, on a first come first paid basis. Competitors wishing to be stabled with others should indicate this on their stable booking form, however, please bear in mind that if the person you are wanting to be stabled with has booked early and you have booked late or vice versa this allocation may not be possible as stables are allocated strictly on a first booked and paid for basis.

Rules, Regulations, Terms and Conditions applicable to all FEI, SASJ National & Provincial Classes

COMPETITION CLASSES |
All classes will be run under the applicable FEI Rule unless otherwise stated in the SASJ Annexures. |

HORSE VACCINATIONS |
It is the Athlete/Owners responsibility to ensure that they comply with the control measures of AHS and EQUINE FLU as per SAEF Regulations and are in the horses’ passports which must always accompany the horse/pony |

MICROCHIP NO’s |
Microchip numbers must be in the horses passport and SASJ Online System |

LIABILTY |
The FEI, SASJ, SAEF, The OC/SHB, Venue, Officials and sponsors shall in no way be held responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or injury sustained by owners, riders, competitors, horses, members or the public or any other person or their property whatsoever. E&OE |

CHANGES TO CLASSES |
The organising committee in consultation with the SASJ Representative reserve the right to combine, handicap, divide or cancel classes should this be necessary, always provided such amendments are not in conflict with the rules. Where necessary, classes may be restricted to qualifications. 80% of entry fees will be refunded should the class/s be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, limit, or divide classes or change arenas. Lower grade/provincial entries may be restricted, or classes cancelled, depending on number of entries. Any classes that are combined will be on a handicap basis. Changes made at/during the show will be at the SHB’s discretion in consultation with the Ground Jury. This also applies to adverse weather conditions. Entry Fees will not be refunded to any competitor in the event of any competition being changed to a different time, day, or different arena. The onus is on the rider to ensure their contact details are correct on the SASJ Database to receive any emails, and to check the SASJ Website for any changes to the schedule/programme. Any changes made to the programme once the final programme is published will be published on the SASJ website www.sashowjumping.co.za or sent out via newsflash. |

ATHLETES |
Athletes are to be registered with a Club, SAEF and SASJ as per Annexures on the SASJ Database. |

HORSES/PONIES |
Horses/Ponies need to be registered with SASJ as per SASJ Annexures on the SASJ Database |

ELECTRONIC TIMING |
SASJ National FDS/Vola Timing Equipment – is required for all National and FEI Events and is the responsibility of the OC in conjunction with the timekeeper to organize, collect and return the equipment. |

STALLIONS |
All stallions should have a yellow disc on both sides of the bridle or have a yellow ribbon in the tail. |
|
ADVERTISING SPONSORS – ATHLETES & HORSES |
Athletes are to ensure that any sponsored Saddlecloths or Athlete Wear they compete in during the event, the Sponsors are registered with SASJ for the current year, and the sizes of logos are in accordance with FEI articles 207.2.5 FEI Jumping Regulations and FEI General Regulations Art 135 The Chief Steward will check that the advertising on athletes and horses complies with these articles. |

GROOMS |
Riders are requested to provide sleeping accommodation for their grooms as there are no facilities for this purpose. Please note that the lighting of fires or smoking in the stable areas is strictly forbidden. Kindly inform your groom. Ablutions are available in the stable area for grooms. There are electricity outlets in the stable area. Water is precious – please be aware of water wastage and help us to conserve water where possible |

LUNGING |
Lunging will only be permitted in the lunge arena. PLEASE DO NOT LUNGE IN THE ARENAS (WARM-UP ARENAS INCLUDED) |

TEMP PADDOCKS |
No Temporary Paddocks will be permitted |
PRIZEMONEY: A minimum of 60% net of entry fees, less levies and VAT for CSN classes, plus sponsorship and 40% less levies and VAT for Provincial classes, plus sponsorship per class. All CSN Jumping classes will be subject to a 15% deduction from prizemoney to be paid into the SASJ Riders Fund.
PLEASE NOTE: Entries will be accepted on a "first come, first served" basis. Please confirm that we have received your entry & payment advice by closing date. The organisers reserve the right to cancel and/or alter the program should they deem it necessary. Late or entries unaccompanied by the correct entry fee will not be accepted. Current SASJ and FEI Show jumping rules will apply to this show. Competitors are required to be correctly dressed. Neither Penbritte Equestrian Centre, SASJ nor the show jumping body, its officials or representatives shall in any way be held responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury sustained by horses, riders, appointed officials, the public or their property at the show, caused by, or resulting from this show.
