The 2026 Equestrian Excellence Series will be run over 5 shows and a final.  Riders do not have to qualify to compete at the Finals, but do need to compete in at least 2 qualifiers to win Over all trophies and Over all Sponsored prizes. Points are accumulated by horse and rider combinations at every show.  Points are alocated according to the number of entries in the class. . Eg. If the class has 20 riders, the winner will receive 20 EES  points, sencond place will receive 19, third 18, up to the last placing which will receive 1 point. The EES points are multiplied by the level;

Level 1 - 60cm- EES points x 1, Level 2 - 70cm - EES points x2, Level 3 - 80cm - EES points x 3, Level 4 - 90cm - EES points x 4, Level 5 - 1m - EES x 5, Level 6 - 1.1m - EES x 6, Level 7 - 1.2m - EES x 7

• All SASJ and FEI rules shall apply.
• The Show holding body reserves the right to combine or cancel classes if necessary.
• An 80% refund will be paid on entry fees,if the show is cancelled due to inclement weather.
• Entries without payment will not be accepted.
• Catering will be available
• No dogs allowed

• Trophies and Prizes will be awarded at theEquestrian Excellence Series finals, to the highest overall point scorer in each height category

GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS

Horses may not enter the show grounds without a valid passport.  All vaccines must be up to date.

1. All FEI rules will apply.
2. Hard hats and boot/shoes with a heel must be worn at all times whilst riding on the show grounds.
3. STRICTLY NO DOGS ALLOWED.
4. Catering will be available.
5. Please note the Organizers reserve the right to cancel, combine or change any classes should this be deemed necessary according to prevailing circumstances.
6. Neither Crystal Ridge nor any show official or staff will be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or theft, sustained by riders, horses, officials or any member of the Public whatsoever.
7. No Cross entries will be permitted between recreational and graded classes.
8. The Excellence Series points will be updated on the database after every show and will be available on the Series facebook page.

The competitor undertakes not to bring any horse or person to the venue which has an infectious disease, whether notifiable or not. Nor any horse or person, the competitor could reasonably be expected to know has an infectious disease. The competitor undertakes to withdraw the horse/rider from the event with the forfeiture of the entry fee, if subsequent to entry the horse or rider should develop, or may be suspected to develop or have been incontact with any such disease or ability to spread such a disease.
