The onus is on riders to check time tables and programs. Changes will be posted on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/penbritte.equestriancentre/ and emailed to competitors. Riders and their teams must understand that they will have to adhere to the estimate time slots and Covid-19 protocols. Riders, their staff and support group of no more than 2 people, must wear masks at all times other than when on the horse.
This show will be run under Covid-19 restrictions. Riders will have to abide by Covid-19 rules and conditions specified below and riders will be given time slots to adhere to. These time slots will be published after the closing date and subject to change as some riders may be part of a yard. Please check times on the Wednesday before, so that we can make the last changes on Thursday.
1 - Riders must not attend the show if they, their staff or spectators show any symptoms of covid-19
2. Riders, grooms and one spectator (or parents), will have to be temperature scanned and fill in a logbook at the gate.
3. Riders will be given time slots and will have to park away from other competitors and riders.
4. Riders, grooms and supporters/parents will have to wear masks on the property and adhere to social distancing protocols.
5. Sanitizer points will be placed at stratigic points and must be used regularly.
6. There will be no prize giving or prize money for this competition, riders will see their results on www.sashowjumping.co.za at least two days after the event.
7. Riders, grooms and supporters MUST UNDERSTAND and AGREE that Penbritte will not be help responsible for any person contracting Covid-19.
8. Penbritte has appointed a Covid-19 marshal and this person will ensure that everyone on the premises adhere to and respect the Covid-19 rules. Any person ignoring these rules, will be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refund from show entries.
9. Riders who miss their time slots may be prevented from entering the property depending on how many other people are on the premises at any given time.
10. The Saddle and Spur Restaurant will also adhere to social distancing rules and no alcohol bought at the Restaurant may be consumed on the premises. Soft drinks and water may be consumed and alcohol may be bought and taken home un-opened.
11. We ask of all the riders and their teams to help us to start up our sport in a safe and responsible way. We are all learning what the best way to run these shows may be. Please be patient.
12. Horse numbers will be limited in the warm up and cool off arena and asked to leave 20 minutes after their given time slot (if your horse has arrived with a commercial truck, then the rider has to leave after competing).

Entries close on 21 July but please take note of your riding times etc.
To cover the additional costs of running a covid-19 approved show and due to limited numbers there will be no prize giving or rosettes but prize money will be paid over electronically.
1. All SASJ and FEI Rules shall apply. Entries unaccompanied by the correct entry fees will NOT be accepted.
2. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, combine and restrict classes.
3. Riders may ride more than one horse in a class
4. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
5. Refunds will be made if the show is cancelled or over-subscribed. A 20% deduction per horse entered
will be made if a cash deposit was made into our account to pay for entries. Refunds will be less 20% of

6. Entries, less the levies as per SASJ regulations.
7. Catering will be available.
PLEASE NOTE: All members and horses must be registered with their SASJ and SAEF - For
ungraded classes all competitors and horses/ponies must be registered on the SASJ website
- Recreational membership is now available for free.
Entries will be accepted on a "first come, first served" basis. If faxing entries and depositing money to our account, please fax us
your deposit slip as well. Please confirm that we have received your entry & payment advice by closing date. The organisers
reserve the right to cancel and/or alter the program should they deem it necessary. Late or entries unaccompanied by the correct
entry fee will not be accepted. Current SASJ and FEI Show jumping rules will apply to this show. Competitors are required to be
correctly dressed. Neither Penbritte Equestrian Centre, SASJ nor the show jumping body, its officials or representatives shall in
any way be held responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury sustained by horses, riders, appointed officials, the public or their
property at the show, caused by, or resulting from this show. Refunds will be made if the show is cancelled or over subscribed. A
deduction of R10 per horse will be made on entries paid by cash deposit.
