Horses
How the points work
- National shows only, Open classes. Points depend on how many horses went through the start (scratched and withdrawn horses do not count).
- 1st place earns 2 points per starter, 2nd earns 3 less, 3rd and 4th 2 less each, then 1 less per place.
- Height multiplier for Pony Rider: 1.10m x1, 1.15m x1.5, SA titles x3.5.
- A rider counts only their best placing in each class. If a rider has more than 3 horses in a class, the rider's points for that class are void. Horses keep their own points.
- In mixed classes, every starter counts and each rider scores in their own age group.
- Rankings are not an indication of current form and are not on their own used for selection. Please see the criteria for team selections.
