NO privately bought or sold Revil Stables entries will be accepted!!  If you are scratching from Revil Stables show and would like to sell your entry, please email rene@revilstables.co.za.                              Your entry will then be refunded and sold to the next person on the waiting list.  If you privately buy or sell an entry to someone or come to the show and say that you have bought your entry from someone privately your entry will not be accepted.
 
SUBSTITUTIONS 
Substitution of a rider may take place more than once per entry, but must be on the correct forms, signed and handed to the show office 30 minutes before the start of the relevant class.  
Substitution of a horse must be done within 48 hours of the start of the show.  All these substitutions must be on the correct forms, signed and handed to the show office or emailed to the OC. 
 
NO SUBSTITUTIONS MAY BE DONE OUTSIDE OF THESE TIME FRAMES AND AT THE OC DISCRETION ANY SUBSTITUTION MAY BE REFUSED IF FELT THAT IT CONTRAVENE WITH THE ABOVE
 
LINKED CLASSES 
All HORSES are only eligible to ride a maximum of 4 classes and only one class per day per horse for the duration of the show. CLASSES 4, 8, 12, 15 & 19 WILL BE LINKED.
 
NOMINATIONS
Declarations for classes taking place on the first day must be made in writing by no later than Tuesday the 27 August 2019 at 16H00. Riders who fail to make this declaration will automatically be entered in the class indicated on their entry.  
Open Classes will be divided into four height groups:  
1.30m, 1.35m, Adult 1.40m, Adult 1.50m + . Horses will enter this section & will each day declare as to whether they will compete in the 1.30m, 1.35m, 1.40m or 1.50m Classes. Riders who fail to make this declaration will automatically be entered in the class that was entered on their entry form. Declarations for all classes subsequent to the first day must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the last open class of the day. If no declaration is made the horse(s) concerned will remain in the class that is entered on their entry form.

NO Open entry will be allowed to move into the 1.20m classes without the express permission of the Organising Committee.  Should this be allowed under NO circumstances would that horse be allowed back into the open classes.

NORMAL STABLING: R1 300 FOR DURATION OF THE SHOW

SECURED STABLING:  R1700FOR DURATION OF THE SHOW (Includes compulsory CHF25(R400) MCP fee).  Only for horses competing in the Revil Stables FEI Classes 13, 14 & 15 must be registered with the FEI and will be subject to the rules of secured stabling.

All entries must reach our offices on or before Wednesday the 7th August 2019 or when entries are fully subscribed.   Entries need to be done on the SASJ Online System. No late, fax entries or entries without proof of payment will be accepted.  Paid entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Unpaid entries will be deleted 24 Hours after you submitted your entry on SASJ Online system. Entries will be Restricted to 230 horses should the show be oversubscribed.  Please send your proof of payment to rene@revilstables.co.za 

RESTRICTIONS:
No rider may compete on more than 3 horses in any class, apart from the 1.20m classes, 1.30m Grand Prix, 1.35m Mini Grand Prix, 1.40m Rider’s Grand Prix, 1.50m Accumulator & 1.50m Riders Champs where they may only ride two horses and in the FEI World Cup Qualifier, where they may only ride two and must nominate one - the nominated horse will be ridden first.  Horses may only compete in their registered classifications.

PRIZE MONEY & PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY 
• FEI World Cup Qualifier CSI*- W, as per FEI Schedule R150 000 
• National Classes:  A minimum of 60% of nett Entry fees (excluding levies) plus sponsorship will be paid out. Prizes will be paid out as advertised. Open classes less 15% to the National SASJ Riders Fund.  
• Provincial Classes: A minimum of 40% of nett Entry fees (excluding levies) plus sponsorship if available per class. Distribution will be one prize for every four entries. 
• Prize money for all the classes is set out in this schedule. 
• Prize money will be paid to the Rider of the horse unless advised by the owner of the horse in writing to:

• It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure that their current banking details is updated on SASJ website. The organising committee will pay into the account shown on SASJ website unless written directions prior to the start of the Event for them to be paid into a different account. 
• All prizes will be given out on the day of competition or transferred within 10 business days after the show has ended.   
• All prize winners to be mounted and correctly dressed when entering arena.  The Organizing Committee may restrict the number of athletes to present themselves for the prize giving.

Terms And Conditions
RULES, REGULATIONS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL FEI, NATIONAL & PROVINCIAL CLASSES 
1. Competition Classes – All classes will be run under the applicable FEI Rule – unless otherwise stated a deviation to the SASJ Rule. 
2. It is the Athletes/Owners responsibility to ensure that they comply with the control measures of African Horse Sickness and Equine Flu.  Batch      numbers and dates of the last two vaccinations against Equine Influenza and AHS must be stated in the passport and signed and stamped by a registered veterinarian. 
3. Vaccinations and Micro Chip Numbers must correspond with the information loaded on the SASJ Online System 
4. Protests lodged must adhere to the General Regulations and SASJ Rules. 
5. Registration of Horse and Rider with their Club, SASJ and SAEF must be in order on the SASJ Database. 
6. All Athletes and Owners should be aware of the FEI Equine Prohibited Substances list of banned Substances and Controlled Medication as well South African Drug Free Sport and WADA Regulations and prohibited substances – All available on the various websites. 
7. SASJ TAG Heuer Timing Equipment – CP540 is required for all National and FEI Events and is the responsibility of the OC to organize, collect and return the equipment. 
8. Athletes are to ensure that any sponsored Saddlecloths or Athlete Wear they compete in during the event – that the Sponsors are registered with SASJ for the current year.  Athletes are also to ensure their logos comply with the FEI Sizes for Advertising – Article 256 
9. Athletes are to ensure they are registered with a club, SASJ and SAEF. 
10. Parades - Except in circumstances where special dispensation has been obtained from the Show Director, competitors must take part in any parade or display or Prize giving. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of any Prize money, Grading/Qualification Points and/or Trophies. 
11. The organising committee in consultation with the discipline Representative reserves the right to combine, handicap, divide or cancel classes should this be necessary, always provided such amendments are not in conflict with the rules. Where necessary, classes may be restricted to qualifications. 80% of entry fees will be refunded should the classes be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. 
12. FEI, SASJ, SAEF, REVIL STABLES, any sponsors, the Organising Committee any and/or Officials shall in no way be held responsible for any damage, loss, theft or injury sustained by owners, riders, competitors, members or the public or any other person or their property whatsoever. 
13. Changes to Classes:  The organising committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, limit, or divide classes or change arenas. 
Lower grade/provincial entries may be restricted or classes cancelled, depending on number of entries. Open grade may be restricted to 230 horses. Recommended rounds per day will be in consultation with the President of the Ground Jury and SASJ Rep. Any classes that are combined will be on a handicap basis.  Changes made at/during the show will be at the SHB’s discretion in consultation with the Ground Jury.  This also applies to adverse weather conditions.  Entry Fees will not be refunded to any competitor in the event of any competition being changed to a different time, day or different arena. 
14. SAEF (Previously SAEA) General Regulations apply – FEI General Regulations are applicable at FEI Events. FEI Veterinary Regulations will apply for all SASJ and FEI Events for Show Jumping in South Africa. 
15. All stallions must have a yellow disc on both sides of the bridle or have a yellow ribbon in the tail. 
16. No Unauthorized person OR company may conduct, promote, hand out, receive items OR payment that may constitute doing any form of business during the show. 
17. NO DOGS ALLOWED.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL INCUR A R600 FINE PER DAY. 
18. Right of admission for any retailers/stall is reserved. Bookings must be made before the show. 
19. Deduction from prize money:  a Deduction of 15% will be made from all Open/CSN prize money awarded at this event.  This amount will be paid to SASJ to be credited to the National SASJ Rider’s Fund. 
20. 21. Riders are requested to provide sleeping accommodation for their grooms as there are no facilities for this purpose. Please note that the lighting of fires or smoking in the stable areas is strictly forbidden.  Kindly inform your grooms. 
Ablutions are available in the stable area for grooms. There are electricity outlets at the stable area.   Grooms meals will be available from the Grooms Meal Outlet/kitchen. 
22. Once booked and paid for, stabling will be provided with initial bedding.  All Competitors needing stabling must complete The Stable Booking form and   send it to rene@revilstables.co.za Please indicate Stallions when filling out form.  Please use bags provided for old stable litter. 
23. Water is precious – please be aware of water wastage and help us to conserve water where possible. 
24. Temporary electronic paddocks may be erected in demarcated areas on condition that horse/pony are not left unattended.  
Lunge arenas or arenas other than those demarcated for the use of the show is strictly prohibited and will be under penalty of disqualification. The use of any area sign-posted as not demarcated for this show is also strictly prohibited.   No Temporary stables are allowed to be erected on the show grounds. 
25. The onus is on the competitor to check the programme/classes when such is published on the SASJ 
Website:  www.sashowjumping.co.za and to ensure their email and contact details are updated on the online SASJ database. 
Also to check the SASJ website and/or ensure they read all SASJ newsflashes for any changes to the schedule/programme etc.

Please note: Up to date FEI passports must accompany horses. 
Riders and Horses need to be registered with FEI for 2019 and entered in the FEI Online Entry system for the show.  
Competitors will be fined should there be any omissions or errors in the horse’s passport.  
 
HORSE PASSPORTS  
All horses must be in possession of their FEI Passports or Group IX Passports at all shows. 
Inspections, sampling and random passport checks, may take place at any event. All horses competing in FEI Classes must have FEI passports or FEI Recognition cards and must be registered with the FEI for 2019 Horse Registrations.
